Environmental Humanities
We’re digging into the cultural roots of environmental vitality and distress while co-creating just and flourishing futures, starting in Waco.
We investigate the cultural dimensions of humans relationships with nature, seeking to live more compassionately in our beautiful common home, our planet.
We’re partnering with others across Baylor and Waco to nourish this campus garden into a center for environmental discovery, creativity, and community health.
This minor invites you to draw on many disciplines—from literature and philosophy to sociology and ecology—to cultivate environmental awareness, take local action, and prepare for diverse paths of care and advocacy.
