This is the first Local Learning Excursion, which the Environmental Humanities Minor will offer each semester.
Dr. Elesha Coffman (History, Environmental Humanities Faculty Affiliate) will lead you in using the Merlin Birding App to identify birds in Cameron Park. You are invited to come with your favorite bird-related poems. Good places to find such poems include Poetry Foundation or Poets.Org. Reflection will include Emily Dickinson’s “’Hope’ is a thing with feathers.”
Organized by the Environmental Humanities Minor for Campus Sustainability Month.
