In partnership with the Office of Engaged Learning, Environmental Humanities is holding a reception on Feb. 27 for Baylor instructors interested in community-engaged learning related to food security, sustainable agriculture and climate resilience.

- Instructors will meet representatives of community organizations, especially Waco's Sustainable Community and Regenerative Agriculture Project (SCRAP) Collective (click for info. on SCRAP).
- Building upon related activities, such as a Faculty Interest Group hosted by the Academy for Teaching and Learning, we hope to encourage partnership between instructors and community organizations on student projects and directed learning opportunities that advance and/or raise awareness about food security, sustainable agriculture, and climate resilience in disadvantaged Waco communities.
- There will be light refreshments (vegetables, fruit, mini-meatballs, and water and iced tea).
