Symposium: Saving the Earth through Agriculture

Waco nonprofit Global Revive is partnering with Baylor’s Environmental Humanities Minor to host this symposium (April 21-22) for Earth Week with support from the Office of External Affairs and Office of Engaged Learning. Panels and special events highlight collaboration between members of Waco and Baylor to renew environments, community, and culture through agriculture, the humanities, and artistic expression.  Events on April 22 (Earth Day) feature a keynote and short films; panels of faculty, students, and community leaders; and a special tour of the Baylor Community Garden.

Students are invited to enter the Global Revive Student Poster Contest by Monday, April 14. Winners will review awards (first place $100; second $50; third: gift card)
