Baylor Tree Stories Project

The Baylor Tree Stories Project is a new interactive map linking student stories to campus trees. As the canopy of stories spreads, we hope it will grow a culture of care for our leafy limbed neighbors who clean our air, cool us down, and shelter our daily lives and education.

Help us celebrate campus tree stories on Arbor Day (Friday, April 24): snap a picture of yourself with a tree on the Tree Story map, post it on Instagram, and add baylor_ehum as a collaborator to enter a raffle for a green prize. Note: If you’re not on Instagram, send environmentalhumanities@baylor.edu your image and we’ll post for you.

Trees featured in the Tree Stories Project can be identified by yard signs like the one shown here—keep an eye out for them across campus.

The Baylor Tree Stories Project is a collaboration between Environmental Humanities and the Office of Sustainability.
